Not Your Ordinary Green House

Nestled within the walls of their charming 1999-built abode, Nate and Luis have curated a home that combines a modern taste and colorful accents. Having embarked on their homeownership journey in 2015, the couple undertook a remodeling venture in 2019. The décor is a combination of ideas that inspired Luis and the expertise of Elaine Green, interior decorator, and founder of Wonderful Things. Elaine, who happens to be their sister-in-law and married to Nate’s brother, played a pivotal role in translating dreams into reality. The result reflects their preferences for clean lines and natural light, while remaining a fun and functional home for their two children.

Nate and Luis curated their furnishings from local small businesses and artists, like Cobblestone and Vine in Bentonville, mixed with signature pieces from other regional stores. Every corner of their home tells a story, adorned with paintings and photographs that reflect the couple’s travels and special life moments. Among these are original artworks, including a colorful painting crafted by Nate’s talented friend and two captivating pieces by the renowned photographer Gray Malin. With each element thoughtfully chosen and every space imbued with warmth and personality, Nate and Luis’ home stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the beauty of supporting local craftsmanship.
