Springtime Fruit Pizza
A Colorful and Kid-Friendly Recipe the Whole Family Will Love

There’s something about May that feels fresh, fun, and full of energy. Flowers are blooming, school’s winding down, and families are spending more time outdoors. It’s the perfect time to whip up something bright, sweet, and simple in the kitchen! This Springtime Fruit Pizza is a favorite for all ages — easy enough for kids to help create and delicious enough to serve at brunches, birthday parties, or backyard get-togethers. With a soft sugar cookie crust, creamy frosting, and juicy, colorful fruit on top, it’s basically sunshine in dessert form.
Let everyone in the family choose their favorite fruits and make a design together — a rainbow, a flower, or even just a beautiful scatter of spring’s best produce. However you slice it, this treat is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
- 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Assorted fresh fruit: strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, mandarin oranges, grapes, raspberries, etc.
- Optional: 1 Tbsp apricot jam + 1 tsp water (for glaze)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. On a greased or parchment-lined pizza pan (or baking sheet), press and spread the sugar cookie dough into a large circle, about 1/4 inch thick. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden. Let cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cookie crust.
- Top with your favorite sliced fruits. Create a fun design — circles, stripes, or a mix! Let the kids go wild with creativity.
- (Optional) For a glossy finish, heat apricot jam and water together in a small bowl until smooth. Lightly brush over the fruit using a pastry brush.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before slicing and serving.
Kitchen Tip: Use cookie cutters to shape melon or pineapple pieces into stars, hearts, or flowers for extra fun!
