2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
Directions:
1. Stir flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl. Pour in milk, egg, oil, and vanilla; mix until well blended but don’t overmix. Stir in strawberries.
2. Grease and heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat.
3. Place heart-shaped cookie cutter/s in skillet or griddle, and pour a pancake's worth of batter into each cookie cutter/s.
4. Cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove heart-shaped cookie cutter/s. Flip and cook until browned on the other side, about 2 minutes more. Repeat with the remaining batter.
