As a herding dog, Pepper exhibits her characteristic behavior by playfully nudging and herding during chores, prompting them to move faster. Tom notes that on their walks, Pepper is always looking over her shoulder and around the golf course, showcasing her innate herding instincts.

Nestled beside the #5 fairway, the family's expansive deck serves as a prime spot for Ellie and Pepper to indulge in their favorite pastime – observing golfers with unbridled curiosity. The deck is not just a haven for the family but a front-row seat to the doggie golf show, where tails wag in rhythmic harmony with golf swings.

Each day at 7:00 am, Tom and Pepper embarked on a ritualistic journey along the golf course.
