Tee Time Tails
A Wagging Journey with Pepper and Ellie at Pinnacle! From LPGA Love to Morning Strolls – Unleashing the Canine Charm on Champions Blvd.
Navigating the Pinnacle Journey
Nineteen years ago, a couple opted for a tranquil escape from Fayetteville to the picturesque greens of Pinnacle. Settling initially on Champions BLVD, adjacent to the women's #17 tee box, they were drawn by the promise of serene retirement and enhanced security. In 2017, a move further on Champions BLVD marked the next chapter in their Pinnacle story.
Ellie: The Darling of the LPGA Tour
The canine saga began with Ellie, an elegant 8-year-old Ruby Cavalier King Charles, acquired from an esteemed breeder in Atlanta. Ellie quickly became a sensation among the LPGA tour players, charming them with her playful demeanor. One amusing incident involved LPGA player Paula Creamer pondering if Ellie could snugly fit into her golf bag – a testament to the charm that radiates from this furry diva.
Pepper: A Miniature American Shepherd with Maximum Charm
Shortly after, Pepper, a spirited Tri-color Miniature American Shepherd brought new energy to the household. Having just celebrated her 2nd birthday in January, Pepper captivates with her striking blue eyes. Among the six dogs in their married life, she stands out as the most energetic. As a herding dog, Pepper exhibits her characteristic behavior by playfully nudging and herding during chores, prompting them to move faster. Tom notes that on their walks, Pepper is always looking over her shoulder and around the golf course, showcasing her innate herding instincts.
Deckside Serenity and Golf Course Bonds
Nestled beside the #5 fairway, the family's expansive deck serves as a prime spot for Ellie and Pepper to indulge in their favorite pastime – observing golfers with unbridled curiosity. The deck is not just a haven for the family but a front-row seat to the doggie golf show, where tails wag in rhythmic harmony with golf swings.
Morning Rituals and Canine Connections
Each day at 7:00 am, Tom and Pepper embarked on a ritualistic journey along the golf course. Pepper's boundless enthusiasm for golf balls in the fairway and friendly encounters with Jacob, a golf course worker, and Sammy, his canine companion, became cherished moments. Pepper makes it a point to swing by the golf shop to extend her friendly greetings. Pepper also forged a heartwarming friendship with Bruno, Vicky Proffer's dog, during their morning walks.
Playful Grandson Visits and Doggie Daycare Adventures
When grandsons Reece and Brooks visit Champions Boulevard, the deck transforms into a playground. Laughter echoes as Pepper and Brooks engage in spirited chases, creating timeless memories against the lush backdrop of Pinnacle. Both Ellie and Pepper cherish their visits to DogWatch in Bentonville – a haven for Pepper's social escapades and Ellie's leisurely naps.
In the symphony of life on Champions Boulevard, Ellie, Pepper, and the echoes of their beloved white Samoyed, Ziva, continue to enrich the couple's story. Their presence not only adds joy to their lives but also forms an integral part of the vibrant tapestry that is Pinnacle.
