Mild Butter Chicken
Spiced Harmony & Generations United
This dish of butter chicken is an example of relocation diffusion. When my dad moved from India to America, his family recipes moved with him-which is how I got this recipe. My dish is also an example of acculturation. Acculturation means to adopt cultural traits under the influence of another. Making this dish of butter chicken with very little spice is an example of acculturation because the spice level of this dish has been changed for American culture. I really enjoy this dish because there is a lot of creativity here, and I love seeing all of the spices come together!
