In April 2003, Anne was diagnosed with breast cancer, a diagnosis that would lead her and her family on a journey marked by strength, resilience, and unwavering love. For seven years, Anne fought valiantly against cancer, undergoing four surgeries, including a double mastectomy, and enduring multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. Despite the immense challenges, Anne remained a dedicated mother to her three young children and continued her work as a Walmart account manager for the Kraft brand team. Her commitment to her family and career never wavered, even in the face of adversity.

During her treatment, Anne began receiving regular chiropractic adjustments to alleviate the symptoms of her cancer treatments. These adjustments brought her significant relief from pain, swelling, and fatigue. Even on her most challenging days, she expressed feeling better after her chiropractic sessions. Witnessing Anne's improvement, her husband, Dr. Shane Manley, and their family also began receiving chiropractic care. They found it helped reduce their own stress and fatigue during those difficult times, enhancing their overall well-being.

Anne's journey and the benefits she experienced from chiropractic care sparked a profound realization in Dr. Manley. After her passing on November 11, 2010, he made a promise to Anne—to help others affected by cancer experience the same relief and healing that chiropractic care had brought to their family. This promise became the driving force behind his decision to pursue a career in chiropractic care.

After moving his family back to Kansas to be closer to relatives, Dr. Manley attended chiropractic school full-time while raising his three children. Upon graduation, he returned to Northwest Arkansas and founded Total Health Chiropractic in Lowell, strategically located between the two largest cancer treatment centers in the region. Total Health Chiropractic is a family-focused practice that treats patients of all ages, specializing in back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatic symptoms, and more. The practice also offers in-house X-rays, Electrical Muscle Stimulation, and Decompression therapy.

Dr. Manley has big plans for the future of Total Health Chiropractic. He intends to expand the practice by adding additional doctors who share the same passion for treating those affected by cancer. His mission is clear: to fulfill the promise he made to Anne by helping as many cancer patients and their families as possible, offering them the benefits of chiropractic care that Anne and his family experienced.
