This sweet kitty, born in early October 2025, has quickly claimed her place as both a playful whirlwind and a beloved snuggle companion.

 

Scrabble’s arrival was especially meaningful for the family. Trevor, the youngest, had always dreamed of having a cat, but for years it had seemed out of reach because of Mallory's allergies.  When Mallory discovered she was no longer allergic, the family did their homework, complete with visits to cat cafés to be absolutely sure. “Once we realized it was really true, it felt like the door finally opened,” Mallory shared.

 

That door led them to an adoption fair through Animal Friends, where the family arrived early and waited patiently, only to miss the kitten they had planned to meet. But fate had other plans. “Then the stars all perfectly aligned,” Mallory said. “Trevor and Scrabble made eye contact, and we all just knew she was ours.”

 

Scrabble’s name came from Trevor, who chose it simply because he thought it was cute. As her personality emerged, however, it became clear that this kitty needed something a little more regal. Thus, Princess Scrabbleton Uno the 1st was born, perfect for formal occasions, of course.

 

At home, Scrabble keeps everyone entertained with her energetic antics before settling in for cozy cuddle sessions. “She’s the perfect mix of playful wild cat and sweet snuggle buddy,” the family says.

 

And yes, Scrabble is very spoiled. Cat trees and toys are multiplying quickly, and Mallory admits she’s fully embracing the change. “I had no idea I was ready to enter my cat lady era,” she joked.

 

From a long-awaited dream to a perfectly timed adoption, Scrabble has already made a big impression, and it’s clear she’s ruling her kingdom with equal parts charm and mischief.
