The Good Life Home Maintenance Solution Offers Home Care for Busy Families

Luke Buelow, owner of The Good Life Home Maintenance Solutions

“People are busy, and the last thing they need to worry about is whether the filter has been changed or if the smoke detectors are working,” said Luke Buelow, owner of The Good Life Home Maintenance Solutions. “We are here to ensure your family is safe and your investment is taken care of. We take the stress out of home maintenance and put it on autopilot so you can focus on what matters. We’re the future of home maintenance.”

Luke Buelow grew up in the Midwest. He has always enjoyed working with his hands and has had a knack for fixing things. After high school, he earned an associate’s degree in Golf Course and Grounds Management. He then completed a Business Management and Leadership degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College.

He spent his first fifteen years in landscaping and facilities maintenance before becoming an operations manager. He then transitioned into the plumbing industry, where he learned about home care. Luke has spent the better part of the last 25 years working in maintenance, learning the ins and outs of caring for a home.

In 2021, Luke decided to use his skills and experience to make life easier for his clients. He founded The Good Life Home Maintenance Solutions to reduce the stress of homeownership. Their mission is to simplify home ownership.

“We’re so much more than your average handyman company,” he said. “We are your partner in keeping your family safe and healthy and keeping your home functional. We don’t just come once and put a bandaid on something; we come regularly to do preventive maintenance so you don’t have to worry about your home.”

The Good Life provides trusted handyman, plumbing, and preventive maintenance services across Northern Colorado. This local, family-owned business offers one-off project-based work but also offers routine home maintenance memberships at three different support levels based on your needs. Scheduled and regular service means your home will function better, you’ll avoid more significant problems down the road, and your family will be safer.

Homeowners can choose from Elite, Enhanced, and Essential home maintenance tiers. At the TOP, The Good Life will come to your home four times a year to complete a comprehensive list of preventative work, including annual servicing for appliances, dryer vent clean-outs, and routine plumbing system maintenance. The team will service all safety items, such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. They check for gas leaks and test gas-burning appliances for proper exhaust. This tier also includes four hours of handyman services at your discretion.

The MIDDLE tier includes four visits per year to check all plumbing and safety systems in your home, change filters, and maintain the safety systems in your home. This membership comes with two hours of handyman services to help you tackle projects in your home, from painting to drywall patching and beyond. The bottom tier includes one annual home maintenance check, water heater maintenance, and one hour of “honey-do list” time. All packages come with discounts on additional plumbing or handyman work.

“We take care of your home so you can spend your time on what matters most,” said Luke. “It’s like your car – you take it in for a regular tune-up and oil change. Your home deserves the same.”

Luke and his team served over one hundred families in 2024 alone, and their number is growing every day. People see the value in properly caring for their homes and protecting their investments.

“Life is busy, and sometimes home projects get forgotten or missed,” he said. “Let us take care of your home and family so you don’t have to worry about it.”

When Luke isn’t working, he loves to spend time outside golfing, camping, and fishing. He and his wife, Mandy, have three kids – Emma (10), Laney (8), and Bennett (5).
