Muth Real Estate: Holding the Keys to Your Next Chapter
For Dave and Dillon Muth, the Ptarmigan and Highland neighborhoods are personal. Their family roots run deep, and their commitment to the community is as strong as ever.
Dave and Dillon live and work in the area, and they have consistently demonstrated that they’re trusted, local agents. The Muth Real Estate Team holds the keys to your next chapter.
Dave grew up in California and studied at Fresno State. With family in real estate development, Dave knew that he’d end up working in the industry in some capacity. He could never have guessed how meaningful his career would become.
Dave’s father, Tom Muth, was one of the original investors and developers in the Ptarmigan area. “My dad got involved in the Ptarmigan development in 1987. He and his partners finished the back nine in 1989 and helped shape the community as it is today,” Dave explained.
After college, Tom suggested that Dave move to Colorado to help sell the neighborhood. Dave visited and fell in love. He moved in 1993 and has lived in the Ptarmigan neighborhood since. Dave helped sell the development until its completion and now serves as a well-known real estate advisor for his neighborhood. “It’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done,” he said. “I got to raise my son in such a wonderful community, and I’ve been able to help so many more buy and sell in this place. It’s been quite the honor.”
Dave’s son, Dillon, joined the business after studying at Colorado State University. “I never pushed Dillon to work with me, but I’d always hoped that I’d get to share my love for real estate with him,” Dave said.
“I studied construction management at CSU, but I quickly learned that there is not enough human element to that line of work. I’d grown up admiring all that my dad has done for his clients; I knew if I joined him, I’d be able to have a similar impact on people. I feel really lucky that I get to work with my dad and help our clients every day,” Dillon said.
Since joining his father in 2023, Dillon has become a licensed assistant and has immersed himself in the business. “There is so much to learn, but I have a great teacher,” Dillon said. “My dad has so much experience and truly cares about his clients. I am learning all that I can from him.”
Together, they serve their clients with the white-glove approach for which they’ve become known. “We define excellence one customer at a time,” Dave said. “We set out to provide the best service possible and help our clients through every new chapter of life.”
“We know the Ptarmigan, Highland Hills, and Highland Meadows neighborhoods like the back of our hands,” Dillon added. “We’ve helped so many people buy and sell here; we have a solid understanding of this market and how to ensure their dreams come true.”
While they have a unique foothold in this area, Dave and Dillon cover all of Northern Colorado. They are equipped to support luxury buyers and first-time clients. Together, they serve upwards of 50 clients per year on both sides of the transaction.
“In terms of experience and track record, there aren’t many others who can compete. We have a 42-point marketing plan for selling a home, and when it comes to buying, our negotiation skills make all the difference,” Dave said. With a business based strictly on referrals and glowing online reviews, it’s clear that this father-son team isn’t just talk.
“For me, it’s the people. I get to work with my friends and neighbors. I take that seriously. I love helping people, and we’ve been fortunate to build lifelong relationships,” Dave said. “We take our work seriously, and we recognize the trust our clients have placed in us.”
When they’re not working, Dave and Dillon can be found on the Ptarmigan Country Club Golf Course. They play in the Thursday night league and enjoy connecting with clients on the green. They love traveling and spending time with family. They give a portion of every closing to the United Way of Larimer County and The Group Gives organization.
