Blingle! of Northern Colorado, serving communities across Northern Colorado and Cheyenne, has become a trusted name for residential and commercial outdoor lighting. Their team specializes in permanent track and holiday lighting (including Gemstone and Oelo brands), landscape lighting design, wedding and event lighting, and full-service holiday décor for Christmas, Hanukkah, Halloween, and beyond.

 

Philip has always been drawn to the outdoors, and when he came across the Blingle! franchise opportunity, he recognized the region's potential. “Lights make such an incredible difference for a home or space,” he said. “It’s rewarding to help people enhance their yards and homes in such a tangible way. With how far lighting technology has come, the possibilities are amazing.”

 

Since opening in October 2022, Blingle! of Northern Colorado has illuminated hundreds of homes and businesses and spread holiday cheer to countless families. “Outdoor lighting is what we do and what we do well,” Philip said.

A new initiative for the company is a renewed focus on becoming the best in landscape lighting. Blingle! joined the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) to further expand the team’s expertise and stay current on cutting-edge innovations, while exploring new design techniques. He and members of his team attend AOLP conferences to gain valuable insight and continue elevating their work.

 

In October 2024, Philip brought on Ryan Barrie, who brought with him a background in marketing and management and a powerful story of resilience and redemption. Earlier in life, Ryan made a series of poor choices that resulted in a ten-year prison sentence for non-violent offenses. Upon his release in October 2024, Philip, who is deeply involved in community outreach, offered Ryan a second chance by welcoming him to the Blingle! team.

 

Ryan oversees the day-to-day operations, which include managing the crews, installations, invoicing, training, and more.  While incarcerated, he earned college credits and focused on personal growth, fully recognizing the opportunity he was being given. Grateful for the trust placed in him, Ryan is now determined to pay it forward.

 

He works closely with Larimer County Corrections and local halfway house programs, helping individuals who are ready for a fresh start. In partnership with the halfway house administrator, Ryan carefully selects men who have demonstrated accountability, reliability, and dedication to their recovery. He personally transports them home, offering not just employment, but a renewed sense of purpose, dignity, and momentum.

 

Ryan is married and the proud father of five children, four of whom are teenagers living at home. His wife works as a dialysis technician. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys motorcycle riding, golfing, and going to the gym. As a family, they love taking road trips, spending time in Estes Park, and cheering on their son, who plays football. They’re also looking forward to a cruise together in March.

Through clear communication and exceptional customer service, we focus on understanding each client’s vision and delivering results that truly delight.”  

 

Their dedication goes well beyond lighting installations. The team provides complimentary lighting services for local nonprofits, enhancing events and brightening facilities for organizations such as Realities for Children, Hope Lives, Frontier House, and Habitat for Humanity. Philip is a Board Member and current Treasurer for the Bankers Foundation of Colorado. He also mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through the Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute. In addition to leading Blingle!, Philip works as an Accounting Partner at Richey May Banking, a practice built on serving community banks and other financial institutions. This enables Blingle to prioritize community, people, and planet initiatives.  Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with loved ones.
