Meet the Farrell Family of Highland Meadows
Highland Meadows is home to many wonderful families, and the Farrells are one of them. Steve, Fadia, and their three children —Ava, Andrew, and Alexander —and their lovable Labrador retriever, Louie, have lived in Highland Meadows for the past five years. They enjoy all the charm this golf course community has to offer, from friendly neighbors to the peaceful, open spaces steps from their door.
Both Steve and Fadia were born and raised in Texas, but they have fully embraced life in Colorado. Steve works as the Director of Operations for Triton Resources, where he focuses on water rights and water transfer services. Meanwhile, Fadia devotes her days to supporting students with special needs at Bamford Elementary. Their children are equally busy. Ava, a Certified Nurse Assistant at Columbine Health and Rehab, will soon be attending the University of Colorado Boulder; Andrew is a student at Fossil Ridge High School and active in the Young Men’s Service League; and Alexander is thriving at Bamford Elementary.
Community involvement comes naturally to the Farrells. Ava spent six years in the National Charity League, volunteering alongside her mother, while the family also dedicates time to serving at their church, Rez. Whether it’s giving back, spending time outdoors, or gathering with extended family, the Farrells truly value connection.
Life at home is equally lively. They love golfing together, taking long walks with Louie, and hosting family from out of town. Fridays often mean pizza from their favorite spot, Pizza Vino, enjoyed after a busy week of school and work. The Farrells also share a passion for cooking gourmet meals, and when it’s time to unwind, you might find them watching a Netflix favorite, dancing to a playlist of pop, country, and throwback hits, or relaxing on their deck with good conversation.
Sports allegiances in the Farrell household are spirited. Steve cheers for the New Orleans Saints, Fadia roots for the Houston Astros, and the kids proudly support the CU football team. The boys, in particular, are enthusiastic about all sports. The family also enjoys trying new activities, with pickleball currently at the top of their list.
The Farrells have traditions that make their family life special. Each Christmas, they attend the Nutcracker ballet together, a cherished ritual that blends elegance, nostalgia, and joy. When it’s time for a vacation, Cabo San Lucas is their favorite destination for sun, sand, and relaxation.
Their family motto comes from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s a verse that guides their lives, their service, and the way they embrace every day in Highland Meadows, a place they feel lucky to call home.
