Meet Milo: The Fluffy Bundle of Joy Who Heals Hearts

Milo, a 7-month-old Shichon, has quickly become the heart of the Lewis family. This adorable mix of Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu arrived at the perfect time to bring comfort and joy after the loss of the family’s beloved 15-year-old Shih Tzu, Moose.

Milo’s journey into the Lewis household was almost serendipitous. After losing Moose, Cami's emotional support animal and “soul dog,” they were devastated. But fate had other plans. A friend of a friend was looking for a new home for their 4-month-old Shichon, and when Jeff and Cami heard about him, they knew it was meant to be. Milo came to them at just the right moment, and it seemed he was there to help heal their hearts.

When Milo arrived, his family had already chosen his name, which remained the same. The name “Milo” fits him perfectly and has remained so since day one.

What makes Milo incredibly unique is his irresistible fluffiness. With his soft, powder-puff-like fur, Milo is as adorable as he is cuddly. He’s the kind of dog who can instantly lift anyone’s spirits with just a look. His fluffy coat and playful nature bring a lightness to the Lewis home that is hard to describe but easy to feel.

Though Milo is still a young pup, his presence has significantly impacted his family. He’s brought comfort, laughter, and love into their home, helping fill the void left by Moose. Milo’s arrival couldn’t have been timelier, and the phrase “dogs have a way of finding the people who need them” rings true for Jeff and Cami. Milo’s infectious charm and loving nature have brought new energy and joy into their lives, and it’s clear that he has enriched their family in more ways than one.
