The Story Behind the Nest
Dr. Jenny Jeshurun
The Nest Wellness Collective was created from both expertise and heart. Founder Dr. Jenny
Jeshurun, PT, DPT, experienced firsthand how transformative early motherhood can be —
physically, emotionally, and relationally. Her pregnancies and postpartum seasons brought
challenges she didn’t expect, but also revealed something beautiful: the deep need for support,
community, and thoughtful, whole-person care.
What began as a one-room pelvic floor physical therapy practice quickly became a much bigger
vision. Dr. Jenny dreamed of a place where women and families could feel supported,
understood, and surrounded by a team of professionals who see the whole person — not just
the diagnosis. A place where questions are welcomed, healing is collaborative, and people feel
safe to show up exactly as they are.
That dream became The Nest — a collective of pelvic floor PTs, mental health therapists,
nutritionists, massage therapists, and movement specialists working together under one roof. It
stands for community, compassion, evidence-based care, and the belief that every season of
womanhood deserves thoughtful support.
Top Things to Know from a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
Through her work, Dr. Jenny hopes more people know:
● You don’t have to choose between being strong and being supported. Caring for your
Pelvic health is not a luxury — it’s an essential part of overall wellness.
● Pelvic floor health isn’t just about doing Kegels. A balanced pelvic floor knows how to
relax and engage, and sometimes healing means learning to soften before you
strengthen.
● Symptoms can be subtle and still significant. Back pain, core weakness, pressure,
constipation, hip pain — even emotional disconnection from your body — can be linked
to the pelvic floor.
● Support is for every season. Pelvic PT isn’t just postpartum care. It can help during
preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, post-surgery, and beyond.
Holistic Care Through Every Season
The Nest believes that true wellness doesn’t live in one appointment or one specialty — it lives
in collaboration.

Here, physical therapists, mental health providers, nutritionists, personal trainers, and massage
therapists communicate and care together to support the whole person. Although the team
works collaboratively, that doesn’t mean every individual needs every service. Many clients
begin with one area — like physical therapy or mental health — and, through trust, safety, and
connection, feel empowered to explore additional support when and if they’re ready. The Nest
was built on a simple belief: when people are nurtured, informed, and supported — they don’t
just heal, they thrive.
