Stacy Watson has been helping families buy and sell homes across Greater Cleveland for nearly three decades, bringing deep market knowledge, sharp instincts, and a personal commitment to every transaction.

Her journey into real estate began in an unexpected way. While working as a head teller in the banking industry, she experienced two armed robberies. The first one, where she was locked in a bathroom by the robber, was especially harrowing—she opened the door and came face-to-face with the barrel of a police officer’s shotgun. That moment prompted a life-altering decision. With four young sons at home, she knew she needed a career that offered both security and flexibility. Around the same time, she had successfully sold two of her own homes as “For Sale By Owner.” The process clicked—she loved the marketing, strategy, and negotiations. Real estate became the path forward, and in 1997, she earned Rookie of the Year honors at her first brokerage.

Since then, Stacy has completed approximately 400 transactions and has been recognized with the Ohio Association of REALTORS® President’s Sales Award, the Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS® Professional of the Year Award, and has appeared in Cleveland Magazine’s Top Agent list every year it has been published. From 2019 to 2025, she received the Keller Williams Top Individual Agent Award based on closed sales.  She has also earned multiple professional designations, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Accredited Staging Professional, First-Time Buyer Specialist, Relocation Specialist, New Construction Specialist, and Luxury Agent Specialist. Yet the recognition she values most comes from past clients, who now make up the majority of her business through referrals and repeat transactions. Many have become close friends.

“From the beginning of my career, I made a deliberate decision to build my business around personal service, integrity, and lasting relationships with clients and fellow agents,” Stacy says. “Rather than joining a team, I chose to remain an independent agent so that every client receives my full attention, experience, and advocacy.”

Her independence allows her to work on both sides of a transaction, giving her a unique perspective. She understands what sellers expect when reviewing offers and what buyers are truly seeking, helping her clients navigate negotiations with clarity and confidence. Having worked through multiple market cycles, she brings a long-term perspective that proves especially valuable in uncertain times. Her service area extends well beyond Cleveland’s west side, with recent clients in Mentor and Port Clinton.

Stacy and her husband, Mark, built their home in Red Tail after years of showing properties in the neighborhood. Drawn to the unique architecture, amenities, and scenic views, they collaborated with a longtime friend who was their builder and worked with an architect to design a custom exterior and floor plan for their family. Living on the golf course with sweeping views was an added bonus. Today, after living in Red Tail for 16 years, they enjoy a close-knit community where neighbors gather for pickleball and summer evenings on the patio. As a Red Tail resident, Stacy has a personal stake in helping fellow homeowners achieve strong results when it’s time to sell. When she’s not working, Stacy enjoys hiking, traveling, exercising, and riding her Peloton. She and her husband are proud parents to four grown sons (Derek, Bradley, Justin, and Parker) and first-time grandparents to identical twin boys (Landon and Jackson).
