Senior Golf Tips
Adjust Your Setup for Stability and Rotation
Narrow Your Stance:
A stance that is too wide can restrict your ability to rotate your body. Start with a narrower stance and a more athletic posture to improve balance and facilitate a full hip and torso turn.
Drop Your Trail Foot Back:
To create room for your hips and torso to turn, slightly move your trail foot back and flare its toe. This allows for better hip rotation and a larger backswing.
Start with Weight Forward:
Begin with about 60% of your weight on your lead foot to set up a natural pressure shift during the swing. This helps you transfer weight properly into the backswing and through impact.
