The 2026 golf season is off to a great start! The men enjoyed a surprise visit from Al Czervik (Rodney Dangerfield’s character in Caddyshack), and the ladies enjoyed Colonel Sanders giving them some finger-lickin’ good golf advice! The Men’s and Ladies’ Opening Day Scramble wrapped up the month of April in style.

The opening scrambles took place on a rainy, chilly weekend in April. Approximately 80 men competed in the kickoff event, with the foursome of Regis Balaban, Scott Bricker, Rick Nagy, and Andrew Ljubi emerging as winners. The following day, the women’s scramble was held, with Kristen Wolken, Maureen Stanner, Claire Williams, and Kasey Kellem taking first place.

Many residents enjoyed a fabulous evening of wine paired with delicious plates at the Sip & Savor event in April. Wines ranged from Erath Pinot Noir from Oregon to France’s The Calling Cabernet Sauvignon. As exceptional as the wine selection was, the cuisine truly stole the show. Guests raved about the thoughtfully crafted small plates, including duck breast, roasted carrots, wild mushroom composition, and braised short ribs. Well done, Chef Jessica and staff!
