Cheer Star Rising

Brooklyn Shines Bright: Elite Cheerleading Success Rooted in Courage, Confidence, and Compassion.

In our neighborhood, we are fortunate to be surrounded by kids who are not only dedicated to their passions but who also embody the values that make a community strong. One such young person is Brooklyn, who many know as Brookie, whose journey in elite cheerleading is a testament to hard work, resilience, and personal growth.

Brooklyn trains and competes with Infinity Cheer and Tumbling in Avon, where she has spent countless hours perfecting her skills in both competitive cheer and tumbling. What began as an interest has grown into a true passion—one that has shaped her into a stronger athlete and an even more confident young lady. Through long practices and an intense competition schedule, Brooklyn has shown an unwavering commitment to improving herself and supporting her teammates.

Last season marked a major milestone in her cheerleading career. Brooklyn’s team earned a coveted spot at the All-Star Worlds competition in Orlando, Florida—an international event that brings together some of the most talented teams from around the globe. After two days of intense and highly competitive performances, her team achieved an incredible accomplishment: a 2nd-place finish, earning a silver medal against top-tier international competition. It was a moment of pride not only for Brooklyn and her teammates but for everyone who has watched her journey unfold.

This year, Brooklyn continued to build on that success as a member of her team, Unity. The team had an outstanding season, consistently placing at the top of their division. With multiple 1st place finishes, they have proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with. One of the highlights of the season came at a national qualifying event, where Unity not only secured a 1st place win, but also took home both Level Champion and Grand Champion titles—an impressive sweep that reflects their talent, discipline, and teamwork. This National Champion status earned her team a bid to All-Star Worlds again this year.

Back in April, Brookie’s team traveled to Orlando for the largest competition in competitive cheer. This opportunity is a significant achievement in the cheer world, recognizing not only the team’s skill but also their dedication throughout the season. Brookie and her teammates competed at Worlds in a manner where they were focused, motivated, and poised as they represented their gym and community with pride.

While the awards and accolades are certainly impressive, what stands out most about Brookie’s journey is her personal growth. Through her experiences in cheerleading, she has developed qualities that extend far beyond the mat. She has learned how to persevere through challenges, how to lead and uplift her teammates, and how to push herself outside of her comfort zone. Her confidence has grown, her work ethic has strengthened, and her sense of compassion for others has deepened.

These qualities reflect the core values of her gym, whose beliefs —“confidence, courage, and compassion”—are clearly shining through in Brooklyn. Courage is evident every time she steps onto the mat to perform high-level skills under pressure. Confidence radiates in her performances and in the way she carries herself both on and off the mat. And compassion is seen in the way she supports and encourages her teammates.

Brooklyn’s story is not just about cheerleading—it’s about becoming the best version of oneself through dedication, teamwork, and heart. Now that she has competed on the world stage, our family, friends, and neighbors celebrate not only her achievements but also the example she sets for others.

We are excited for her next season with Infinity Cheer and Tumbling, as we know it will be one defined by growth, perseverance, and the true spirit of “confidence, courage, and compassion.” The sky is the limit for this ten-year-old! Can’t wait to see her fly!
