Londyn Stone Spikes Her Way to Success
Hard work, record-breaking stats, and a love for the game define this Avon High volleyball standout.

Seventeen-year-old Londyn Stone is an Avon High School senior and a Varsity volleyball team member. After more than 10 years of playing, Londyn still loves the game and thrives off its competitive nature. Her position as outside all-around gives her the chance to play all around the court and use all of her skills effectively.
Londyn normally practices at Avon High School or T3 Performance, the athletic training center here in Avon. Her dedication and hard work pay off as she plays for both Avon’s team and the Cleveland Volleyball Company 18 Black team. Both give her the chance to participate in tournaments and games all over the country, as well as the opportunity to receive many awards and honors. In Londyn’s case, she has won First Team All-Ohio, First Team All-District, First Team All-Conference, and All-Tournament Team 2023 and 2025. She also broke the school record of 1,000 kills in August.
Although she hasn’t met any famous volleyball players, her idol is one that she is lucky enough to call her sister. She is also whom Londyn said is her favorite mentor in the sport.
The life-long friendships Londyn has made are what she likes most about volleyball. Her favorite moment, though, was getting second at nationals. If Londyn could pick two things that she’s learned from this sport, it would be patience and determination. Although that can sound intimidating, she wants to remind any aspiring volleyball players to remember to always have fun!
Londyn will continue her volleyball career at Duquesne University after graduation. Congratulations to Londyn and go Dukes.
