Congrats to the Avon Eagles!!!

The Avon Eagles football team secured the 2024 OHSAA Division II State Championship with a hard-fought 20-13 victory over the Cincinnati Anderson Raptors. The game was played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, where the Eagles triumphed in a thrilling contest to capture the title.

Head Coach Mike Elder, now in his 17th season at Avon, led the team through a remarkable season, and his strategic coaching was key to their success. The Eagles finished the season undefeated, showcasing their dominance throughout the playoffs.

Quarterback Nolan Good played a pivotal role in the win, leading the offense with poise and precision. Running back Quiante Smith delivered crucial runs, powering the team through tough moments.
