A Winter Walk Through the Neighborhood

December brought more winter holidays and chilly weather. The best way to cheer the spirit is to light the landscape with decorative illuminations. The outdoor lighting on the exterior of many homes in Red Tail added brightness and brilliance to the darkness which was pervasive following the time change. A walk through the neighborhood at dusk or dawn….or a drive home after ‘dinner out’ was uplifted by a bright spot on many homes with holiday lights. Some peeks of interior decorations were also visible and strategically placed in windows to add to the effect.
Some residents chose white, icy lights to ring in the holidays. Others decided that warm, golden lights were the right choice for their home to bring a heartfelt spirit to celebrations. Still others felt that colored lights were a better reflection of the ‘full of fun’ atmosphere for the winter holidays and family gatherings. Adding adornments like featured characters, wreaths, or ribbons added so much to the displays. Many residents took advantage of these characters for photo opportunities.
No matter your decisions for outdoor decorations this winter. The residents at Red Tail benefit from the beauty and the neighborhood models a splendor for the joy of the season. The lighting and accessories provide many ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ moments to brighten the dark. Happy winter!
