Wrecking Ball Annie Brings Big Joy to the Blackburn Home
At just one year old, Annie Blackburn is already keeping up with her big brother and filling her family’s days with laughter and adventure.
The second round of joyful chaos that comes with having a one-year-old is happening in Nick and Hannah Blackburn’s home. Their daughter, Annie, born on January 23, 2025, is already making a name for herself in the household. Sweet, curious, and determined, Annie brings a lively energy wherever she goes.
Affectionately nicknamed “Wrecking Ball Annie,” she has earned her title. Anything her big brother James builds is fair game, and Annie is always ready to knock it down. She’s already embracing her little sister duties and finding herself right where her big brother is. In fact, her favorite toys tend to be whatever James is playing with.
Annie’s adventurous personality shines through in her favorite activities. She loves spending time cruising around the neighborhood in her stroller and getting some fresh air. Golf cart rides are another fan favorite. When it’s time to cool off, Annie loves spending time in the water— whether that’s swimming in the pool or splashing around in Mom and Dad’s “jets tub,” which is just her size.
When it comes to food, Annie knows what she likes. Frozen blueberries are at the top of her list, making for a refreshing, but messy snack she never seems to get tired of.
One especially fun surprise has been Annie’s early interest in golf, just like her big brother. She definitely watches him closely and is eager to join the fun. Whenever she spots a golf club left around the house, she’s quick to grab it and use it to push golf balls around the floor. It might just be the beginning of many sweet family memories.
At just one year old, Annie has already brought so much joy and laughter to the Blackburn family. Her energy and playful spirit keep everyone on their toes, and her parents wouldn’t have it any other way. As she continues to grow, there’s no doubt that Wrecking Ball Annie will keep knocking things down—and building memories along the way.
