The Next Flight: Red Tail’s High School Graduates Take Off

From backroads to big dreams, Red Tail’s newest grads share hopes and what comes next after the cap and gown.

Brooke Millet

Maddie Lozon
Parents: Jessica and Chad Lozon
High School: Avon High School – Honors Diploma
Post-Secondary Plans: Attending The Ohio State University
Field of Study: Psychology. Maddie became interested in psychology after taking AP Psychology in her junior year of high school. She developed a strong interest in understanding how the mind works, especially in relation to mental illnesses and their treatment. This inspired her to pursue a future career as a psychiatrist.
High School Activities and Clubs: Maddie played for Avon High School’s lacrosse team, beginning in her freshman year and continuing throughout high school. She was also involved in multiple clubs and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Length of time living in Red Tail: Her whole life – almost 18 years
    Addison Crawford
Parents: Jeff and Christine Crawford
High School: Avon High School
Post-Secondary Plans: University of Tampa
Field of Study: International Business and Finance
High School Activities and Clubs: Addison served as vice president of the Class of 2025 for four consecutive years. She is the founder and president of The 47 Club, a member of the SADD club, secretary of Model UN, and a member of Avon’s Chamber Orchestra.
Fun Fact: Addison holds a seal of biliteracy in Spanish and is pursuing global bilingual certification after taking the AP Spanish exam in her senior year.
Length of time living in Red Tail:  Her entire life since birth
    Brooke Millet
Parents: Kirsten and Aaron Millet
High School: Avon High School – Honors Diploma
Post-Secondary Plans: Ohio University
Field of Study: Psychology, with a desire to help others.
High School Activities and Clubs: Brooke participated in Cross Country and Track and was a member of Art Club, Leo Club, Making Our Story Club, National Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society.
Fun Fact: She loves strawberries.
Length of time living in Red Tail: Since 2007
     Carmela Kennedy
Parents: Andrea and Frank Kennedy
High School: Magnificat High School
Post-Secondary Plans: Rutgers University
Field of Study: Finance. Carmela chose this major because Rutgers Business School offers a Road to Wall Street program, aligning with her aspirations of working on Wall Street in the future.
High School Activities and Clubs: She played soccer during her freshman and sophomore years, and was a member of both the Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society, as well as the business club.
Length of time living in Red Tail: Five years
     Alexis Kresevich
Parents: Millie and Mike Kresevich
High School: Avon High School – Lexi attended Lorain County Community College for all three years of high school through the Early College High School program, earning both her Associate’s degree and high school diploma. She completed the program a year early by taking additional classes and is graduating from both high school and college at the age of 16.
Post-Secondary Plans: Cleveland State University
Field of Study: Pre-Med (Chemistry). Lexi’s long-term goal is to become a Holistic Psychiatrist. She believes Western medicine is often overused in treating psychiatric disorders, especially in children.
High School Activities and Clubs: Lexi works as a coach at Great Lakes Gymnastics, the same gym where she previously competed. She is also a member of the Serbian church choir.
Fun Fact: She never procrastinates and prefers to complete tasks well in advance of deadlines.
Length of time living in Red Tail:  Four years
     Thea Beran
Parents: Josette and Richard Beran
High School: Avon High School – Honors Diploma
Post-Secondary Plans: Case Western Reserve University
Field of Study: International Business and Finance. Thea finds these fields interesting and hopes they will support her future goals of pursuing a career in sports agency.
High School Activities and Clubs: Thea participated in Volleyball, Model UN, and class government as a class officer.
Fun Fact: She previously lived in Abu Dhabi.
Length of time living in Red Tail: Ten years
     Sam Toniolo
Parents: Patricia and Pablo Toniolo
High School: Avon High School
Post-Secondary Plans: University of Toledo
Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering (Automotive). Sam has had a lifelong passion for cars and wants to improve automobile performance and driving quality.
High School Activities and Clubs: He was involved in Football, Basketball, and Track.
Fun Fact: Sam was born in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2014.
Length of time living in Red Tail:  Eleven years
    Aiden Bush
Parents: Debra & Gregg Bush
High School: Avon High School
Post-Secondary Plans: The Ohio State University
Field of Study: Aiden is undecided but is interested in science-related fields
High School Activities and Clubs: He did a lot of volunteering and participated in Model UN and the winter sports club
Fun Fact: Aiden’s favorite vacation was when he  went swimming with sharks in Punta Cana
