For Michael and Tiphanee, finding the right place to raise their family meant more than just buying a house—it meant finding a true community. After moving to Red Tail nearly a year ago, they've discovered exactly that.

Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Michael and Tiphanee have always valued family, friendships, and staying active. Their three children—Paxson (12), Hayden (10), and Nixon (7)—were born in Bettendorf, Iowa, before the family eventually made Northeast Ohio home. Both Michael and Tiphanee are proud graduates of Indiana University, though their household is happily divided when it comes to college sports. While the Hoosiers have loyal supporters under their roof, the Hawkeyes have their fans as well.

Professionally, Michael serves as the General Manager of Steel Warehouse, while Tiphanee enjoys being a stay-at-home mom, keeping up with the family's busy schedule.

Life is rarely slow for this family. Summers are spent soaking up the sunshine at the Red Tail pool, while weekends often include trips to local parks, lakefront adventures, or cheering from the sidelines at one of the kids' many sporting events. Paxson stays busy with tackle football and basketball, Hayden plays volleyball, loves tumbling, and is rarely seen without a good book in her hands. Nixon enjoys baseball, basketball, football, and recently added golf lessons to his growing list of activities.

When they're not on the go, the family enjoys relaxing together at home by playing games or watching sports. Their English Bulldog, Oxford—better known as "OX"—is always nearby, adding plenty of personality to family time. 

The family enjoys exploring all that Northeast Ohio has to offer, but one destination holds a special place in their hearts: Silver Beach in St. Joseph, Michigan. Whether it's a day at the beach, discovering a new local park, or traveling to the Dominican Republic or Florida, making memories together is always the priority. They also treasure trips back to Indiana and Iowa to reconnect with family and lifelong friends.

Dining out is another favorite family pastime. You'll often find them enjoying dinner at Strip or grabbing pizza at Chatty's Pizza. For a sweet treat, the kids never pass up a visit to Peace, Love and Little Donuts. At home, family dinners often feature a classic favorite—spaghetti.

Although they're still building many of their family traditions, they've already established some meaningful ones: summer afternoons at the pool, grilling on the patio, golf cart rides through the neighborhood, exploring new places, and simply spending time together outdoors with friends and neighbors.

Since moving to Red Tail, the family has embraced everything the neighborhood has to offer. Michael enjoys playing in the men's golf league whenever he can, while Nixon is beginning his own golf journey with weekend lessons. Tiphanee enjoys participating in trivia nights and meeting neighbors, and together the family makes the most of neighborhood events, evenings on the patio, and countless hours at the pool.
