Flights & Bites Happy Hour

What a happy hour hosted by Flights & Bites! Bob and Pam from Flights & Bites were wonderful hosts and full of wine knowledge and information!
Wines served:
Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
Serious concentration and expression! Flaunts a powerful bouquet of fresh herbs, tropical fruits and bright citrus.  Ripe stone flavors and a distinct minerality hold up well to rich, spicy foods.
Pairs: Asian cuisine, shellfish, and creamy cheeses.

Primarius Pinot Noir, (Oregon)
Aromas of lush bramble fruit, bright Bing cherries, with subtle notes of cinnamon and clover.  Palate brings forward red fruit, cran-raspberry, and orange blossom.  Juicy entry, forward-leaning mid-palate, and a smooth finish with soft tannins.
Pairs: Hams, turkey, Italian meats and red fruits.

Quilt Cabernet, (Napa Valley)
Dark plum in color with exuberant aromas of dark cherry strudel, ripe blackberry, and cocoa nibs.  Bold flavors of boysenberry jam, dark chocolate with a hint of clove. Elegant on the palate, smooth finish, and velvety tannins.
Pairs: marbled steaks, grilled fajitas, Italian hams, and lamb..

La Transa Prosecco Rose, Italy
Softly dry with citrus and honey suckle aromas, and lively effervescence. Fresh berry and Pear flavors mingle with toasty notes in this sparkling rose wine.

Thank you, Bob and Pam, for hosting Regatta neighbors.
