Anchor Point Marine: Masters of Service on the Water
Founded in 2025, Anchor Point Marine Service delivers factory-level expertise, safety-focused solutions, and honest workmanship—giving boaters confidence every time they leave the dock.
Anchor Point Marine Service opened its doors on January 1, 2025, with a clear goal: provide reliable marine service backed by experience and accountability. The waterfront-based business is owned by Chase Turner, who leads a six-person team serving boaters across the area.
With 30 years of combined experience on staff, Anchor Point offers a wide range of repair and maintenance services. “We handle everything from routine engine service to full repowers,” Chase said. The shop works on Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki outboards and provides 100-hour services, diagnostics, and repairs. Personal watercraft, including Yamaha WaveRunners, are also part of their workload.
Beyond engines, the team installs trolling motors and marine electronics, including Garmin and Simrad systems, JL Audio, VHF radios, and Power Poles. Services extend to bottom painting, detailing, polishing, ceramic coating, upholstery repair, fiberglass restoration, and marine flooring installations. Trailer repairs, lithium battery installs, and winterization round out their offerings. “We want to be a one-stop shop for boaters,” Chase explains.
Chase’s background sets Anchor Point apart. He is one of roughly 300 Yamaha Master Technicians worldwide, selected from more than 6,000 technicians nationwide. “I grew up boating with my father,” he said. “My best memories were made on the water, and I wanted to help other families create those same memories.” That early exposure grew into a focus on safety as well as performance. “Boating should be fun, but it’s also a responsibility,” he added.
The business supports the broader boating lifestyle by offering safety and navigation products, including EPIRBs, man-overboard systems, and Garmin wearables with inReach technology. “These tools save lives,” Chase said. “My goal is to get every boater one safety system in place.”
Anchor Point is also active in the community, supporting local fire departments, the sheriff’s office, and holiday donation efforts. “None of this would be possible without the trust of the community,” Chase noted. “Honest service is what builds relationships.”
At its core, Anchor Point Marine Service is about peace of mind. “No one wants to be stranded on the water,” Chase said. “We provide worry-free boating so families can focus on time together.”
