Tom Hanscom, Owner/Publisher of Stroll Reynolds Lake Oconee (Inside the Gates) and Lake Country BeLocal has partnered with Keith Stover, President & CEO of Midlands Media Group to form Reynolds Community Radio (RCR). The new radio station was crafted around the idea of having a voice for the neighborhood while playing a variety of music that everyone can enjoy. "I wanted a station that was new and innovative and met the needs of our great community. I've lived here for over 8 years and was searching for something that would bring our residents even closer together like Stroll Reynolds Lake Oconee has done over the years. I feel like we've done just that and I'm very excited to get this out to the residents", stated Hanscom.

This station is an app/internet based station and can easily be downloaded on your cell phone and computer. You can listen at home, on the lake, and even keep in touch with what's going on in the community when traveling. We are finalizing agreements with apple and android app stores and Amazon Alexa. By the next issue you will be able to download the station for free from your favorite app store or just ask Alexa to play "Reynolds Community Radio". Once completed, we will publish QR codes for easy download. Until then you can go to our website at reynoldscommunityradio.com to download the station. 

The music is custom designed for the lifestyle of our neighborhood. We will feature feel-good favorites from the Eagles through Adele. In addition to the popular music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, the station will have updates on events and happenings in our community. RCR also offers special features such as “Lights Out On The Lake”, a playlist of relaxing songs from 8pm – 1am. Take us with you on the boat every Saturday and Sunday afternoon for our “Sandbar Social” featuring all up-tempo music to add to the sun and fun! Other special programming includes the “Cool Breeze” smooth jazz show Sunday morning from 6 – 10, the “Shag-a-thon” Saturday night from 8 – 12, and “Frank & Friends” Sunday night from 8 to 12. 

Commercials will be limited and only available to companies interested in being a true partner with Reynolds Lake Oconee. Only 35 sponsorships are available.
