A Tribute to the Class of 2025

This year at Timpview has been nothing short of unforgettable. This Senior year, I wanted to make the most of every moment—and now looking back, I’m so glad I did. From the excitement of football games and school dances to the quiet, meaningful moments with friends and teachers,
this year was packed with memories I’ll never forget.
I had the privilege of serving as Senior Class Vice President this year, which meant I got to be involved in nearly everything and helped plan all of the school events and decorate for them. I loved helping bring the energy and spirit to our school, whether it was organizing Senior Sunrise and Sunset, leading the charge in spirit days, or helping pull off our senior prank and Senior
Assassin. I learned quickly that when you’re willing to step up and get involved, high school becomes so much more than just showing up—it becomes something you help shape.
One of the most meaningful parts of student government for me was getting to speak at our Veterans Day Assembly, where I honored my neighbor and friend Fred Day, a Korean War veteran. I’ll never forget that moment. Or when we came together as a school for Sub-for-Santa, raising money to make sure local families had gifts under their tree. These experiences taught me
that real school spirit isn’t just about cheering at games—it’s about service, gratitude, and lifting the people around you.
Outside of Student Government, I also had the chance to be part of Timpview’s top choir, the Madrigals. Singing with that group was powerful—whether we were performing on Temple Square, going on tour to California, or singing in our own auditorium. There’s something so amazing about standing shoulder to shoulder with people you’ve worked so hard with, each singing their own unique part, and creating something beautiful together. And then, in December, I got to perform a 29-page memorized Kabalevsky piano concerto with the school orchestra—a dream I had worked toward for over a year. Playing that music with the piano as the melody and orchestra as its accompaniment, surrounded by classmates, reminded me that if you work hard, stay committed, and push past your comfort zone, amazing things can happen.
Of course, not everything was easy. There were countless tough days, hard classes, and moments that didn’t go how I’d hoped. But even those challenges taught me something too. Looking back, I’m most grateful for the people—my teachers, my friends, my family—who believed in me and
who helped inspire me to make this year what it was.
Now, I’m preparing to serve a mission in Barcelona, Spain, and then head to BYU to study pre-law. As I take those next steps, I carry with me everything Timpview has given me. And to the Class of 2025—thank you. Thanks for the laughter, the memories, and the chance to grow together. We’ve built something special this year. Let’s carry that same passion forward into
whatever comes next in life.
Once a T-Bird, always a T-Bird!
