I was super worried about how the interaction was gonna be between Liam and Lila. About a week before she was born via surrogacy, I took him to Kuhl Linscomb to pick her out a toy. He picked out the ugliest cow print turquoise purse with a horse in it. But, it’s what he liked so it was what I bought for him to give to her as a gift at the hospital. When she was born, he was in the hotel, so the next morning I had her laying on me doing skin to skin when he came into the room. He literally walked in and walked back out. My biggest fear. We convinced him to go back in the room so he could meet his baby sister and give her her gift. She literally smiled when he handed it to her. Not even 24 hours old! I said “Liam look she loves you already and she loves her present! “He smiled ear to ear and ever since then they’ve been best friends. He loves making her laugh and smile. He’s constantly saying how he does not like babies but he loves Leila so much. He talks about how cute she is and how sweet she is and I’m so glad they have a good relationship… For now.

Food - sweet cream steamed from the  coffee machine. She literally licks her chops when I’m making coffee in the morning.

Animal - we don’t have pets, but she loves to hear me meow like a cat! Daddy may have to suck it up and get his baby girl a cat.

Activities - she’s obsessed with her walker. She is so fast and as of this weekend, she has learned how to pop a wheelie to get out of the front door threshold! Dangerous but determined.
