My name is Brad E. Kolder, and I’m the managing partner of Kolder, Slaven & Company, LLC in Lafayette, Louisiana. I’ve lived here most of my life and cherish the strong sense of community in our area. My family is very important to me. My wife, Monique, our daughter, Sophia, and I enjoy spending time together traveling, playing tennis, and exploring new places. Outside of work, I stay active through fitness and sports, always looking for ways to improve my physical health and enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. My journey in accounting began with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University in 2005, followed by my CPA certification. I furthered my education with a Civil Law Degree and Common Law Certificate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2009 and earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation in 2014. To complement my professional background, I also obtained my Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, which enable me to provide comprehensive financial services to clients.

With nearly 15 years of experience at Kolder, Slaven & Company, LLC, I assumed the role of managing partner in 2022 following in the footsteps of my father, Burton Kolder, who led the firm from its founding in 1997 until 2021. In this role, I oversee our core services in audit, tax, and bookkeeping, while also expanding our wealth advisory offerings through Kore Financial Group. These services allow me to work directly with clients on financial planning and investment strategies, helping them achieve long-term financial security. Today, I’m proud to lead a team that combines deep industry knowledge with a personalized approach to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
