Ollie’s Sky-High Adventures

Name: Oliver (Ollie), male
Breed: Standard Poodle
Age: 10-months-old
Humans: Gus and Genevieve Ingraldi
Hi there, neighbors! It’s me, Oliver—but you can call me Ollie. I’m a 10-month-old standard poodle living my best life with my humans. I figured it’s time you get to know the fluffy bundle of joy taking over their household. Buckle up, folks—it’s a tail-wagging story of how I went from a cockpit celebrity to a local therapy sensation.
How It All Started
It was fate, really. Our family friends, Kevin and Danielle, got wind of the "best litter ever" of silver standard poodles. When they snagged a male, they couldn’t help but nudge my humans to get me too. Sure, the timing was a little chaotic (as they say, when it rains, it pours poodles), but here I am—the best “worst timing” decision they’ve ever made.

What’s in a Name?
Ollie. Short, sweet, and oh-so-fitting. Dad had a soft spot for the name, and honestly, I love hearing it called out when I’m bounding across the yard. It just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? Ollie the Poodle. Kind of has a superhero vibe, don’t you think?

My Grand Entrance
Speaking of superheroes, did you know I made my first public appearance in an airplane cockpit? Yup, at just eight weeks old, my pet sitter, Ashlyn with WoofPack Dog Walking and Pet Services, flew all the way to Connecticut to pick me up. Somehow, her charm (or maybe my irresistible puppy eyes) got us invited into the cockpit. There I was, posing like a pro with the pilot—instant Instagram gold! Talk about starting life at cruising altitude.

Life at Home
Now that I’ve traded in airplane seats for my cozy home, life is a dream. My humans call me sweet, gentle, and—wait for it—a natural therapist. Mom even takes me to work at Lotus Counseling and Wellness sometimes, where I help clients feel calm and comforted. They say I have a sixth sense for what people need, but honestly, I just wag my tail and let the magic happen.

Therapy Dog in Training
I’m currently working on my therapy dog certification, and let me tell you, it’s no walk in the park! (Okay, there are some actual walks in the park.) My dream is to spread love and joy to the community, one tail wag at a time. Mom says I’m a natural, but hey, I’m just doing my job: being Ollie.

Am I Spoiled?
Spoiled? Me? Never. I mean, sure, I might get more love than I ever imagined and extra head pats on demand, but isn’t that just standard operating procedure for poodles? Let’s just say I’m well-loved.

A Fun Addition
My humans say I’ve been an easy and fun addition to the family, but I’m the one who hit the jackpot. They’ve made my life pretty amazing.

If you see me trotting through the neighborhood, give a wave—or better yet, stop by for a scratch behind the ears. I’ll be the one with the big, fluffy tail and an even bigger heart.
Ruff,
Ollie
