I grew up in the beauty industry, my parents bought their first salon in South Florida when I was 2 years old, I spent many days there as a kid and loved every minute of it! I have worked in the salon industry for the last 25 plus years, most of those years were seeing clients behind the chair.When I was 23 years old I helped open a large salon in Ft. Lauderdale that is still open today. I left that salon 2 years later to take on a role as a full time color educator for the professional division of Loreal, where I won top 2 colorist in the United States.  I also managed 2 salons in Miami Beach and did backstage hair for many luxury label fashion shows in Miami. I moved to North Florida in 2009 where I met my husband Kyle, and we have 2 boys, Luke and Brooks. They are by far my greatest accomplishment! 

When we moved to St. Johns I wanted to work closer to home since we had 2 young kids at the time. I began offering hair services to Rivertown residents and very quickly I had more clientele than I knew what to do with. We began researching solutions to combine my love of education and a way to make beauty services more accessible to busy moms/women. I wanted to create a way for busy women to have easy access to a full salon, without having to travel far outside their neighborhood. Primp visits a different local Saint John’s neighborhood everyday in an effort to make luxury accessible. 

We offer full salon services including hair color, haircuts, extensions, hair growth treatments, and blowdrys, as well esthetic services, such as facials, lash extensions, waxing, makeup and sunless tanning. 

We bring the whole salon experience right to your neighborhood! We don't just visit local communities we become part of them. Every visit isn't just a salon appointment it's an opportunity to connect with neighbors. Our businesses is built on convenience and relationships not just appointments, and that is what makes us different.  

Community is truly heartbeat of who we are! We are deeply rooted in the neighborhoods we serve and take pride in giving back our neighbors. We host an annual fundraiser every April and attend many community events while partnering with other local business's, it is an honor to give back to the places we call home. 

Being a mobile salon hasn't come without its challenges, from powering our equipment with generators to managing our own water supply, we have had to think outside of the box every step of the way. Those challenges have pushed us to grow, innovate and refine our systems so that we can deliver a seamless, high quality experience everywhere we go! Every obstacle has strengthened our commitment to making beauty accessible, reliable and convenient for our community.  

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that beginning in January we'll be offering franchise opportunities for those who share our passion for beauty, community, and innovation. After perfecting our mobile salon model we are ready to expand our reach. This next chapter will allow entrepreneurs to bring our unique, convenient mobile salon experience to even more neighborhoods, creating opportunities to serve, give back and grow together.
