Kelly Harple, The Connector Behind Stroll Riverview
Hi, neighbors! I’m Kelly Harple, a proud Riverview transplant from Mount Dora, Florida, who made the leap to Chattanooga on October 1st, 2024 - falling in love with this city ever since.
With nearly 30 years in the publishing world, my journey began in the art department of a national wedding magazine and evolved into launching and owning my own parenting magazine in Orlando. That passion grew into sister publications in Atlanta and Phoenix, where I also served as art director. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Though life took an unexpected turn in 2010, landing me in the construction industry for a decade, publishing was always my creative home.
I’m a mother first: Riley (23) is a brilliant hairstylist in South Florida and is recently married to "Big" Lane, and Kendall (20) is transferring to UCF’s Engineering School after two great years at FGCU. I raised these amazing kids as a single mom and couldn’t be more proud of the humans they’ve become.
Life has also gifted me a beautiful bonus family thanks to John, my favorite person and steady teammate in this new chapter. With him comes a bonus 10-year-old, "Little" Lane (who keeps us laughing), two grown sons, and the sweetest grandbabies. It’s a wonderfully blended life full of love, noise, and joy.
I’m also a daughter, sister (one of six!), and friend - shaped by my roots and guided every step of the way by my incredible parents, Ann and Ken Harple, who reside in Palm Coast, Florida. And let’s not forget my two wild and lovable Frenchies, LeauxLu and Jack, who run the house with charm and sass.
Now back in publishing, I’m right where I belong... living out my purpose as “Kelly the Connector,” a name lovingly given to me by my dear friend Dr. David Banks. Whether I’m working out of the Common House, grabbing a coffee in the neighborhood, or laughing with new friends at happy hour, I’m always looking to bring people together.
So let’s connect. Coffee? Lunch? A casual glass to toast the day? I’m all in. Let’s build something beautiful together, right here in Riverview.
