This Calls for a Celebration!

The class of 2024 is a class to remember, especially for their proud parents and loved ones. Stroll Rolling Hills is honored to recognize these fantastic young residents. We wish them a happy and bright future.

James (Jamie) R. Black , M.D. received his  medical degree from Wake Forest Medical School in a hooding ceremony at Wait Chapel on the Wake Forest University campus. He volunteered in the DEAC (delivering equal access care) clinic and remained active in intramural sports.  Jamie heads to SSM Health/SLU for his orthopedic surgery residency in the city of St Louis.

Joseph (Joey) J. Black received his Juris Doctor from Boston College School of Law with an emphasis in tax law. He was the Law Student Association Vice President and received the Richard S. Sullivan Award for his service to the law school and community. In the fall, he will practice trust/estate law.

Jon (Jonny) G. Black graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University with a BA degree in Psychology and minor in Chemistry. He  played rugby and was a member of a men's acapella group. He is currently teaching music lessons and will return to further studies in the fall.
  
Isa Bringas is graduating from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where she just won the female athlete of the year for 2023-2024. “As proud parents, we marvel at Isa’s journey from her first tentative steps on the tennis court at age seven to her triumphant domination of the Bay League tournament for four consecutive years (one doubles and three singles titles). Now, as she embarks on her next adventure at UC Davis with a full-ride scholarship, studying Neurobiology while continuing her athletic pursuits, our hearts swell with pride. We're honored to witness her dedication, talent, and boundless potential unfold.”

Anastasia ‘Natasa’ Eleftheriou graduated from Loyola Marymount University with her Masters in Fine Arts with a specialization in creative producing from the School of Film and Television. Walking in this graduation ceremony was extra special for her as she did not have a ceremony in 2020 (due to Covid), when she graduated from the University of Washington with her bachelors degree in Communications. This was a very sweet finish to her college years. Natasa is a 2016 graduate of Palos Verdes High school and has been a resident of Rolling Hills since 2006.

Victoria Kate George is graduating from Chadwick School in Palos Verdes where she has attended since Kindergarten. She was a regular and featured writer for the high school's newspaper "The Mainsheet.” Her commitment to MUN led her to many assemblies from Scotland to Mexico, and this senior year to the UN Headquarters in NYC. She also played Varsity Lacrosse for Chadwick her junior and senior year. Victoria plans to attend Elon University in North Carolina this Fall. 

Josh Goodman is graduating from Chadwick School in June 2024.  Josh has enjoyed an accomplished high school career including an undefeated championship football season, League and CIF MVP Awards, Special Teams MVP, First Team Prep League, MUN Best Delegate and Chadwick School Founder’s Award for academic, athletic and social accomplishment.  Working multiple jobs throughout, Josh has built a far and wide network of friends through high school that he will miss as he leaves for University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.  His adventure starts with the Global launch program in South Korea, where he looks forward to meeting new class colleagues as well as connecting with friends at Chadwick International in Songdo. 
 
Zachary Goodman graduated from Chadwick School in 2019 and Georgetown University in 2024 with a BS in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude scholar, and member of the Business Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma.   At Georgetown, Zachary was involved in many student led organizations such as Hilltop Consulting, Georgetown Credit Union and the Farmers Market Leadership.  After he finished classes in December, Zachary travelled Southest Asia, Australia, New Zealand  and Japan.  In September, he starts work for Accenture Consulting in San Francisco.  
 
Sean Holt graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business cum laude with an emphasis in finance. During his time at USC, he played on the men's varsity tennis team for the first two years and was a part of the Sigma Chi fraternity. After graduation, Sean will join Fortress Investment Group as a Real Estate Private Equity Analyst. 
 
Beatrice Navarro recently graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. While in high school, Beatrice played Varsity lacrosse for 3 years. She was a member of the National Charity League Ticktockers and performed admirably after being elected Senior Class President. Beatrice started a club while at Pen called LAX4ALL which endeavored to bring lacrosse to economically depressed areas. She was a California Scholarship Member thru high school and was lauded for her photography abilities with an Achievement Award. She is excited to begin college at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and study Business and Social Media Marketing in the late summer!

Oliver Paul Nguyen graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. He has been very involved in several equine organizations. He competes locally and nationally and is the current President of the Pacific Coast Youth Cutting Horse Association. Oliver will attend the University of Arizona in the fall to study Architecture. 
 
Emma Post is graduating from Palos Verdes High School. Emma is a CSF Gold Sealbearer and member of NHS. She is a competitive Equestrian rider competing locally and around the country. Emma is a Ticktocker in the Peninsula Chapter of National Charity League. She earned the Presidential service award all 6 years volunteering over 100 hours. Her favorite philanthropy is Manes for Movement. Emma will attend Texas Christian University in the fall studying Psychology. Her parents, family and coaches are extremely proud of all her accomplishments.

Chase Wheeler recently graduated from Northern Arizona University's W.A. Franke College of Business. While celebrating this milestone, Chase isn't stopping there. He'll be furthering his education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Beyond academics, Chase enjoys exploring the Rolling Hills trails on horseback with our trusted stead Gunner. This passion for equestrianism reflects his love for the outdoors and a sense of adventure. A heartfelt congratulations from Mom, Dad, Shannon, Brian & Walker! We're incredibly proud of you Chase!
