The Rolling Hills Courts Club held yet another successful and fun-filled event. On May 11, 2024, the Cinco de Mayo Tennis/Pickleball event kicked off at 8:30 am with a yummy breakfast of coffee, bagels and cream cheese, cookies, mimosas and other treats.  Residents and guests came with their game faces on ready to play round robin style pickleball and get some extra coaching tips from Mario and David.

 

Meanwhile, the tennis players were down on court 2 playing different workouts and getting encouragement from coach Everard.

 

Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped and gave their time and effort to make this a great event.  Alya and Chris Lucas supplied the awesome decorations for the tables and surroundings and brought the breakfast. A shout out to Jessica, Rumel, Paul, David and Mario for helping tape the pickleball lines on court 3 the day before.  Our fabulous bar tenders and margarita makers, Erich and Jessica, made sure everyone's glasses were overflowing.  Extra coolers were supplied by Lynee and Rumel, not to mention their help in setting up for the event as well.

 

After a fun filled morning of tennis and pickleball, Tony Mian made sure all were well fed by having the Taco Man come with all the fixins for a fabulous lunch.  Thanks again to all for another fun event and remember to come down to the courts for drop in pickleball on Tuesday/Thursday and Saturday/Sunday.
