Betty Davidson

Going strong and living life to the fullest at 103!

Betty with Sally as the Christmas carolers from Rolling Hills blessed her by singing carols for her

I first met Betty Davidson 44 years ago when we first moved to this country from Holland. She kindly welcomed me and showed me her wonderful garden, where we have since enjoyed many gatherings. Betty and her family have often been here to my home on Meadowlark Lane for Boxing Day, church small groups meetings and other social occasions.

Betty was an enthusiastic rider and she is still very interested in horses at 103 years old! She even asked me yesterday how many horses I had! She is, of course, revered for her long-time leadership in founding and organizing the Portuguese Bend National Horse Show, and for her invaluable support of the LA Children's Hospital.

Betty is a wonderful Christian woman and she eagerly promotes Christian gatherings. She even hosted our first Christmas Coffee in 1998 and is always interested in and passionate about promoting the real “REASON FOR THE SEASON!”  She is a shining example of how to live life and she is much loved by all who know her here in Rolling Hills.
