Crystal Coser, Co-Founder and CEO of Bites & Bashes, started in the industry early—launching her first catering business with her mom at the age of 15. At Harvard, she excelled academically, earning a degree in Economics with minors in French and History of Art and Architecture. Her early experience, along with her role as Associate Editor of Eater LA, helped Crystal shape Bites & Bashes into a brand that blends culinary artistry with a refined understanding of the Los Angeles food scene. Now a member of the Chadwick Alumni Board and Chadwick Foundation Advancement Committee, Crystal continues to contribute to her community with a commitment to excellence that mirrors her approach to Bites & Bashes.

Julie Coser, Co-Founder and Executive Chef of Bites & Bashes, has been a culinary force in Los Angeles for decades. After running five successful restaurants, she turned her attention to catering, eventually co-founding Bites & Bashes with her daughter. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with High Honors, Julie brings an invaluable wealth of knowledge, precision, and creativity to every dish she creates. Although Julie has traveled the world to master global cuisine utilizing her French fine dining background, her Korean heritage is reflected in the unique and flavorful offerings that Bites & Bashes clients love, such as soy-braised short ribs and vegan glass noodles with fresh produce from the family farm.
