Looking for a Fun, Community-Focused Activity for You and Your Little Ones?

The Family Nature Collective

Since becoming a parent to Olearia (3.5) and Hugo (14 months), I’ve been on the lookout for meaningful activities to enjoy with my kids. Maybe you have, too! I wasn’t drawn to traditional music classes, noisy indoor play spaces, or even the local playgrounds (which, around here, are often filled with nannies). What I really craved was a sense of community—and I finally found it at The Family Nature Collective.

This wonderful group is run by two moms: Elizabeth, who leads a craft circle on Tuesdays, and Whitney, who hosts a cooking class on Thursdays. Each session begins with a song and introductions, followed by about an hour of hands-on crafting or cooking, thoughtfully designed for little hands. Afterward, the kids run and play freely in the beautiful park before gathering for snack and story time. Many families linger, and I’ve met some truly wonderful people through this experience. It’s a warm, welcoming environment filled mostly with parents and children—and it’s just the best!

If you're looking for something fun and community-centered, come check it out! We'd love to meet you.
