How long has your family lived in the neighborhood? What do you like most about living here?
We moved here in November of 2025. We like all the great areas to walk in Rose Creek. Sidewalks take us to all the neighborhoods so we can explore all of Rose Creek.
What's your pet's name, age, sex, and breed/type? Please share any interesting background about their breed, if applicable.
We live in Rose Creek with my 2 sister Cavalier King Charles spaniels. Our breed is a British breed of toy dog linked to English royalty, made famous by their association with King Charles II, who ruled in the 1600's. Queen Victoria also loved her King Charles spaniel.
When and how did your pet come to join your family?
I was brought to McKinney, Texas in December of 2019 after my owner's dog passed away earlier that year. I was united with my 2 Cavalier sisters in 2024 when my master remarried a lady who had 2 Cavaliers like me.
Is there a story behind your pet’s name? How did you and your family come up with it?
I (Rocky) was named after Rocky Road ice cream, the Tri-colors.
What's the one trait or behavior that makes your pet stand out from the rest?
We love to play together and explore new things; we are very curious.
Does your pet have any unique talents or tricks?
We can shake and sit.
Does your pet have any favorite toys or treats?
We love to chase balls of any shape and size. Our favorite treat is a chew stick called "Oinkies" and Cheese.
Tell us about your favorite memory with your pet.
We visited my dad's daughter in Melissa, Texas, and got to play with her Golden Retriever and Dachshund and got to play outside on their 1.5-acre property
Where does your pet love to hang out in the neighborhood? Who are your pet's favorite playmates in the neighborhood?
We love to hang out in our backyard and play with each other.
Are there any local businesses or parks your pet particularly enjoys visiting?
PetSmart and dog-friendly bars/restaurants to watch Football; we did this a lot in Texas.
If your pet could choose any adventure to go on, what would it be?
Long walk in the forest.
