Love in Every Stitch
From Ruby Hill to India, Knitted Gifts Bring Joy to Children in Need
Kids at orphanage
It is always great to give back to those who are not as fortunate. Pami Nayyar, mother
of Ruby Hill resident Ritu Patel has struggled with her vision but using muscle memory
she continues to knit beautiful scarves, caps and gloves for children. Last year she
made 50 sets and Tina Ghai another Ruby resident took them to India and distributed
them to an orphanage run by Miracle Charitable Society. The kids were thrilled to get
handmade gifts. It truly warms the heart when someone cares enough to give a gift
made with love. Pami Nayyar heads up a group called Sit and Knit and these lovely
ladies meet twice a month to knit, discuss designs and have a cup of tea. Enjoy the
pics.
