Meet Wilson: Ruby Hill’s Sun-Loving, Bone-Crunching, Backward-Walking Lab
A 5-year-old silver Labrador with a heart full of snuggles, a quirky fear of hardwood, and a whole lot of love for his family (especially his brothers)

Hi, my name is Wilson. I am five years old and a silver Labrador retriever. I live in Ruby Hill with my mom, dad, and two older siblings. My oldest brother is about to move away to college, which makes me very sad. But luckily my other brother will stay with me for many more years. I also have a younger dog sibling, but more about him later.
I hail from superior genes - my parents are trained service animals from Stofer’s Labs in Prunedale, CA. My litter included five brothers and two sisters. I am so lucky, my mom keeps in touch with them, and we meet up twice a year at the beach to play. I also follow them on Instagram and know what they’re up to.
My favorite treats are any type of bones. I could chew on them all day, and they never last long because I gobble them up fast. My favorite thing to do is napping outside on the sun. Sunbathing is one of my favorite activities. I’m glad I’m furry - I never get sunburned. I am also a first class snuggler. My favorite people to snuggle with are my two older brothers, Jayden and Quinn. My oldest brother is leaving, and I’m dreading it big time. I will miss him so much I don’t know what I’ll do with myself. I guess I’ll just have to sit outside his room and wait for him to come home.
Funniest thing about me - I only walk backward on hardwood floors until I reach carpeting. My mom doesn’t know why I do it, but it’s because I like the soft carpet on my legs. And for some reason, hardwood floors scare me.
I love humans and guilty of being friendly. Stop in to say “hi” if you ever see me on a walk. I love to give kisses and eat treats.
