In an industry often known for complicated policies and confusing terms, I’ve made it my mission to help change the conversation around Property & Casualty insurance.

As a Ponte Vedra Beach resident, U.S. Army veteran, husband, father, and business owner, I founded my Goosehead Insurance agency in 2022 with a simple goal: help everyday families understand and protect what they have worked so hard for and what matters most.

Through my work with Goosehead Insurance and my personal brand, Jeff the Insurance Guy, my focus has always been centered on education and advocacy. I believe people deserve clear explanations, honest guidance, and access to resources that help them make informed decisions about protecting their homes, vehicles, investment properties and personal assets.

Though not originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, my wife Tricia, our son Aidan, daughter Lexie and I have proudly called Ponte Vedra Beach home since 2020.  Tricia and I have been married for 21 years — we actually met in an insurance licensing class, which makes this career path feel a little like fate. Aidan is a PVHS 2024 graduate and is pursuing his Business degree.  Lexie is a Junior at PVHS and a member of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team.  She plays Goalie and is a D1 Commit to play lacrosse in college.

Prior to devoting my career to the Insurance Industry, I spent 12 years serving our country in the Infantry as part of the US Army. Two days after I graduated High School, I was headed off to Fort Benning for Bootcamp.  That journey provided an opportunity to serve in the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington DC for the first 4 years.  Highlights of that post included meeting Ronald Reagan, Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana as well as an unofficial surprise dinner with George HW Bush. After that, I spent several years at Fort Lewis on a Recon Team and then in Boston as a Recruiter.

Playing and coaching football has always been a lifelong passion. It was an honor spending five years coaching my son and his teammates through JDL football at Davis Park.  During my younger years back in Ohio, I played Quarterback through High School and continued playing Semi-Pro while in the Army as well as post military for the Orlando Rage.  As an avid Ohio State Football fan, the college football season is my favorite time of year.

When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me out on the golf course at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, or enjoying the outdoors hunting and fishing.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple — to be a trusted resource for the community and help families feel confident about the protection they have in place.
