Street Odie lives on: Burton Place

Is Odie an angel, a bit of a troublemaker or spoiled? Spoiled for sure.

Does your pet have any specific talents or tricks? Odie will bark to let us know the mail has been delivered through our front door mail slot.

Is there anything other neighbors or pets would know about your pet? Odie loves to go into our neighbors yard and play with their two children. After a few minutes he sneaks away, goes through their gate and explores all the new smells in their front yard.

How would your pet tell the story of the day they met you and your human family? In the words of Odie: "My previous owner was a young gal who worked long hours and could not keep me. When I met my new humans they had a house filled with kids and another dog named Riley, I loved it. Riley became my best friend. My best bud now is the grandson of my mom and dad. I stay right by his side whenever he comes to visit."

Has your pet ever run away or gotten into trouble? Odie: "I love running after skunks in our backyard. Each time I find a smelly friend I get sprayed and mom has to give me a really long bath. She does not like the smell, I don’t think it smells that bad."

What is his personality traits? Super laid back until we leave the house then he becomes nervous thinking we will never come back.

What is your pet's favorite Arlington Heights park? Schaag.

What is his pet peeve?  When we do not give him table scraps he starts making funny noises hoping we will slip him some food.
