Sedgefield’s Frenchie Duo
These lovable, Frenchies have taken over the Rudd household—and their hearts—with big personalities, nonstop affection, and plenty of mischief.

For Miles and Holly Rudd, their French Bulldogs, Angus and Roux, are more than pets—they're family. As empty nesters, the Rudds lovingly refer to the pair as their “quasi children,” and with good reason. Wherever Miles and Holly go, Angus and Roux are close behind—usually within arm’s reach, if not in their laps.
Angus, now 7, is a showstopper. At 44 pounds, he’s one of the largest French Bulldogs most people have ever seen. Fit, energetic, and full of personality, he’s earned his title as a “freak of a Frenchie” with affectionate good humor.
Roux, age 6, is Angus’s half-sister and an unstoppable force of mischief and love. Described as a little diva, she’s always getting into something—but always quick with an avalanche of kisses. Together, the pair are inseparable and undeniably adored.
French Bulldogs, or "Frenchies," are known for their affectionate nature, expressive faces, and sturdy little frames. Bred to be companion dogs, they thrive on human connection and are happiest when they’re part of the action—exactly the kind of life Angus and Roux enjoy in the Rudd household. They sleep in bed, rule the furniture, and are treated with the affection of beloved family members—which, of course, they are.
