Our beneficiary this year is the Wallace family. Jared, a devoted husband and father, was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma — a rare, aggressive cancer that had already spread. He bravely endured more than $200,000 in treatment and won that initial battle. In the time that followed, he faced ongoing hospital stays and serious complications which, ultimately, took his life. Help us bless the Wallace family as they navigate the loss of their father and husband, Jared.

Who was Jared?

Jared dedicated his life to caring for others. For four years, he lived out his calling as a marriage and family therapist, while also spending more than 30 years leading worship in churches and camps across Arizona and California. Through every trial, his focus remained on his family, serving others, and trusting that God uses every season for good and for his glory.

 

What is cornhole for a cause?

This year marks The Home Selling Team's Sixth Annual Cornhole for a Cause, and it’s truly one of our favorite events. Each year, we select a family or organization in need and raise funds by hosting a community cornhole tournament.

Cornhole is not only a time to help bless a family in need, but an opportunity to get out with your family and enjoy things like cornhole, trivia, dinner and drinks, and more!

“I love you more than yesterday”

The words Jared shared each day to his family...“I love you more than yesterday” and “I see you.” These beautifully reflect who he was at his core. Present, loving, and steady, he lived with intention and a faith that grounded every part of his life.
