Meet Daniel King | Kings Marine Construction
What sets us apart is the high-level craftsmanship we provide and our utmost attention to detail.
Originally from Connecticut, our family has deep roots there, and all three of my children were born in CT. We grew up in coastal Connecticut, spending most of our years enjoying boating and fishing on Long Island Sound. My grandfather and great uncle owned Fords Lobsters in Noank, CT, an iconic business featured in many magazines and publications. They even built the wooden lobster boats that are in use today.
For many years, I worked as a general superintendent for a long-span bridge company. During a vacation to Florida, my wife and I were amazed at the amount of construction taking place. After a short discussion, we decided to make the big move to Florida.
After working for a few years in my field as a general superintendent, my son and I decided to make the move and start a family business. Having spent years around marine construction, and with Florida offering an amazing coastline, it only made sense to start Kings Marine Construction.
What sets us apart is the high-level craftsmanship we provide and our utmost attention to detail. We take pride in listening to our customers’ needs and always bringing their vision to life. Matching that philosophy with meeting customers’ schedules and budgets makes us stand out in the industry.
Coastal living is beautiful and rewarding, but protecting your investment is paramount. Maintaining or replacing your seawall helps ensure there is no property loss from the harsh marine environment. Second is ease of use. You have this great asset; let’s make it more accessible and user-friendly for you and your guests.
One thing that is especially important to us is that all work is done in-house. We never subcontract any of the marine work, which ensures streamlined communication and project management throughout every project.
