Miss Gracie is 8 years old, and we met her through Lone Star Bulldog Rescue. Though petite for her breed, we had a DNA test to confirm she is 100% English bulldog. Her human roomies are Lee and Kathy, but Gracie seems to prefer “dad” over mom.

     The name “Grace” seemed to be a natural choice for her, as she was a ‘clutz’ from day one. True to the breed, Gracie sleeps when she isn’t napping and enjoys lying out in the sunshine on the grass. Her talents include walking the front fence ledge like a mountain goat; taking small packages from the Amazon drivers and running them into the house; and playing ‘tag’ and racing her dad back to the house after her nightly ‘business’ in the front yard.  Of course, she always wins! 

     Lastly, she used to love the singles-wrapped cheese slices for sandwiches until one day we gave her a treat of shredded cheddar. Now she spits out any cheese except for cheddar.  Quite the diva!
