The Social at the Eilan Hotel has been newly renovated, and Shavano Park neighbors recently gathered to experience it firsthand on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Located in the Eilan Hotel, this Southwest-inspired restaurant provided the perfect setting for an evening of great food and meaningful connection. A wonderful crowd turned out to enjoy delicious cuisine sponsored by The Social and lively conversation in the refreshed space. Residents and Stroll partners were treated to a generous spread at two food stations, featuring favorites such as flautas, tacos with all the fixings, beef inspired appetizers and The Social’s unforgettable signature sweet pepper bacon.

The restaurant’s open kitchen—complete with a wood-burning grill and classic brick oven—added to the vibrant atmosphere. Guests also enjoyed the full-service bar and lounge, which offered handcrafted cocktails, local brews, and a wine selection.

The evening also included announcements and door prize prizes were offered. Lucky winners went home with a bottle of wine offered by Apple Pest Control, a curated goodie package and a gift card offered by Element's Massage, made the night fun. Additional new Stroll partners in attendance were Bexar Essentials Remodeling, Benitez Irrigation & Landscape, LA Mobile Med Spa, Matador Cooling and Heating HVAC, and the UPS Store in Shavano Park.

With great flavors, friendly faces, abundant food, and a gracious host in a beautiful setting, the event was a wonderful way for neighbors to connect and experience the best of South Texas hospitality at The Social at Eilan.
