The Dahm family—Eric, Beret, and their children Mia, Catcher, Boden, and Jewel—have called DC Ranch home for three years. Married for 23 years after meeting on a golf course, they enjoy golf, pickleball, hiking, music, and neighborhood dinners with friends. Originally from Portland, they cherish sunshine, Fourth of July boating, holiday traditions at the Fairmont Princess, and especially the strong sense of community they’ve found among their neighbors.
Chey and Sabrina Castro, newlyweds and founders of The Castro Group, met unexpectedly at the DMV during COVID and married on 3/3/23—fittingly tied to their shared “lucky number,” 33. Deeply rooted in DC Ranch and Silverleaf, they value authenticity, relationships, and local expertise. They love walkability, fitness, golf, faith-based entertainment, great Mexican food, and coming home each day with gratitude—along with their Maltipoo, Birdie.
Josh and Nicole Cormany have lived in DC Ranch for 13 years with daughters Olivia and Luci and their dogs, Zoey and Nino. Married nearly 24 years after meeting as teens, they run beem™ Light Sauna North Scottsdale and embrace a wellness-focused lifestyle centered on golf, Pilates, hiking, music, and time on the DC Ranch trails. They love neighborhood date nights, summers at Priest Lake, and the strong sense of belonging they’ve built here.
Reagan Tully and her children, Bryn and Barron, moved to DC Ranch in 2024 and quickly felt at home. Along with dogs Aspen and Barkley—and two horses nearby—the family stays busy with skating, hockey, riding, and outdoor adventures. Originally from Texas, Reagan values motherhood, travel, cooking, and the safety, warmth, and activity that define life in DC Ranch.
The Schafer family, parents of three young children, relocated from the Bay Area nearly three years ago to be closer to family and now run Happy Haven™, their family-owned business. Their weekends are filled with sports, pool time, biking to AJ’s, and afternoons at the Homestead Community Center. They love DC Ranch’s family-friendly layout, neighborhood parks, and vibrant social energy.
Alex and Vy Liu — a physician and physician assistant—are proud parents to two sons: Aiden and their newest addition, baby Archer, born July 26. The family has lived in DC Ranch for three years and loves traveling, exploring great food, and spending time with loved ones. They frequent the aquarium, zoo, libraries, and local classes with Aiden, and traditions like hosting Chinese New Year celebrations or unwinding at nearby spas make DC Ranch feel like the perfect place to grow their family.
The Goossens family—Max, Jenny, and children Emma and Jack—have lived on 93rd Street for two years. Outdoor enthusiasts, they enjoy swimming, cycling, hiking Pinnacle Peak, and time at The Homestead. With Max’s career in medicine and the upcoming opening of their restaurant, Heritage Kitchen & Cocktails, they’re excited to further connect with the community.
The Camelot family—Paul, Cammie, and sons Colton and Braden—have lived in DC Ranch for 20 years, including a decade in Silverleaf. Married after meeting on a bike ride, they love skiing, biking, travel, and staying active. With deep involvement in local charities and business groups, they value DC Ranch’s location at the base of the McDowell Mountains and the strong sense of community it fosters.
Jeff and Tobie Harkless, Arcadia Silverleaf residents, balance neighborhood life with their long-standing ranching roots through Hark Ranch in Arizona. Married for 29 years, they raised their sons in Scottsdale while instilling values of hard work and tradition. Now empty nesters, they split time between ranch life, travel, community involvement, and their family business.
Longtime restaurateur Tom Kaufman is the creative force behind The Living Room, Elvira’s, CHoP Chandler, and Tomu-San Sushi. A DC Ranch resident, his career began as a young server and grew into a lifelong passion for hospitality. He credits the area’s beauty, convenience, and friendly atmosphere as the perfect backdrop for his continued work and inspiration.
The Lane family—Kristin, Leslie, and sons Becker and Turner—recently moved into the Estates at DC Ranch after a lengthy building process. Kristin, founder of Cedarhurst Home, and Leslie enjoy golf, cooking, movies, and neighborhood parks. With roots in Oregon and England, they love travel, family traditions, and are excited to become more involved in the DC Ranch community.
