Hi neighbors! I’m Nugget, an almost two-year-old Holland Lop bunny. I live with my mom and dad, Lexi and Tommy, my siblings Olivia, Cole, and Millie Grady, and my best friend (even if I’m not technically allowed near him), their dog Cooper.

I joined the family on Christmas Day 2024 — and yes, I was the favorite present under the tree! My family had been talking about adding someone new, and I was clearly the perfect choice.

When I first arrived, no one could decide on a name. They also noticed something very important about me — one of my ears sticks straight up. While everyone was suggesting ideas, Olivia took one look at my tiny size and declared, “Nugget!” It stuck immediately. After all, I am very small… and apparently that’s my most lovable quality.

Being small has its advantages. It gives me plenty of creative escape routes when I feel like visiting Cooper. One day, while sitting in my cage wishing I could go play, I decided to take matters into my own paws. I lifted the cage and made my great escape. Olivia was not impressed — especially since I’m not supposed to hang out with Cooper — but I consider it one of my finer accomplishments.

I also have a dramatic side. When I’m unhappy, I stomp my foot. Once, I was enjoying some balcony time when Olivia told me to come inside. I stomped. She told me again. I stomped again. The third time? You guessed it — stomp. Eventually she came and picked me up, and I remained appropriately annoyed.

Despite my occasional mischief (and my tendency to chew cords), my family says I bring them constant joy. 

They laugh at my antics, call me comedic, and say I brighten their days. Personally, I think every home needs a little bunny energy — especially around Easter.

From Christmas surprise to Easter spotlight, I’ve certainly made myself at home. And while I may run the house now, I know one thing for sure — I’m very loved, and I love my family right back.
