Meet Bella
A glamorous toy Pomeranian with a big personality, has completely stolen her owner’s heart. From cuddles on the couch to joyful car rides and constant companionship, Bella’s story is a reminder that some of the purest expressions of love come on four tiny paws.
How did Bella come into your life, and what made you fall in love with her?
I wanted a small female toy Pomeranian and I found her at a breeder in Carefree.
It took forever to find just the right Pomeranian, but when I saw Bella, I knew she was perfect! Her parents were show dogs, so she is a full blood Pomeranian. She comes from good stock and is just beautiful!
How would you describe Bella’s personality, and what do you love most about her?
Bella is very spoiled! She is high maintenance, and demands a lot of attention which she always gets. She has two other brothers (who are also Pomeranians) that she has to compete with, but they adore her! She knows she is beautiful and cute.
In what ways does Bella show affection to you and your family? Bella always loves to be held and cuddled. She will stand at your feet letting you know she would like to be picked up. She also loves riding in the front seat of my car.
What are Bella’s favorite ways to snuggle or spend quality time with you?
At night, she loves to curl up on the couch with me and watch TV. She also sleeps in my bed and loves to cuddle with me.
How has Bella brought comfort, joy, or laughter into your life? She has such a happy personality, and loves people.... very social! Her little face always gives me joy. Just a pleasant happy little girl. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She is always happy to go places!
What’s a small moment with Bella that perfectly captures why she’s so loved? Just her being so cute, and looking like a stuffed animal... She loves attention and always wants to be included in everything, especially riding in a car.
How do you celebrate Bella—whether on Valentine’s Day or just in everyday life? I just love on her daily when I'm at home, and give her plenty of affection and treats.
What has Bella taught you about unconditional love? That no matter how long I'm not at home, when I come home at the end of the day, she's always happy to see me. She barks at me as soon as I walk in as it's her way of speaking to me. She's letting me know she's so happy to see me, and that always gives me comfort.
If Bella could write you a Valentine’s message, what do you think it would say? "I love you Mom! You are my world and you are the best!"
